I had a simple, subtle weekend filled with simple pleasures. We slept, a lot. Returning to our own bed and rhythms has been rewarding and taken some time to adjust to. We ate a lot of delicious food, and a lot of meals cooked by friends eaten on their decks and in their gardens. I had rich conversations with people I love and am inspired by. We picked a lot of fruit, dragon fruit from the scraggly vines intertwined with passionfruit which were also picked and eaten with yoghurt and chia seed puddings. We have so many limes the tree is almost falling over and gave these to family and friends, and I drank coconut water with fresh lime squeezed into rehydrate. Our basil was bolting so we picked mountains of it and I made pesto.

I had some seriously galactic insightful meditations over the full moon. And we watched our current fave ever television show DTF St Louis. And I hang on each Monday as I wait for the next one!

I hope you had a restful weekend, managed to turn off from the worlds news a moment and attend to yourself and your own life with your boots on the ground.

Last week I sent 5 Letters to you with lots of content, advice, and tools, and so to balance that out post Easter I wanted to keep it simple. Some days we need less advice and more of a reminder. A compass to return to when the noise gets loud.

Powerful reminders for you ;

All the beauty, grace, intelligence, compassion, generosity, authenticity and love are here and now within me.

I need not prove anything, object anything, dispute or rage against anything.

I can be strong and firm and still be without rigid opinion.

I can be in alignment and in flow and still question.

I will not be negative, engage in gossip, or be unkind.

I will speak sweet truth, always.

I will give every situation, every human, the benefit of the doubt.

I will assume love first, before ulterior motives.

I will move from the present moment and not from past conditioning.

I am, and forever will be, made of the same matter as the stars, and I will not forget it.

I am forever, and will be, love.

This isn’t toxic positivity. It’s not about pretending everything is perfect. It’s a daily practice of moving beyond the noise in our heads - the endless stream of thoughts about what others think of us, what happened in the past, what might happen in the future - and getting present to what is actually here.

We have everything we need within us. The whole practice is just remembering that.

Sent with love,

Jac x

Something I’ve learned: the right words find the right people when we help them along. If something here moved you, trust that instinct and share it - with a friend, a colleague, someone you love who’s quietly struggling. They might need it more than you know.

Today’s Practice

This is where rubber hits the road and integration takes place, and it’s for our paid subscribers only. Research in positive psychology shows that repeated exposure to value-aligned statements gradually reshapes the neural pathways associated with self-perception. It’s not magic, it’s neuroscience. But it only works with repetition.
